Hello;
Did not want to see the white stuff but drove north to Atlanta this week to celebrate our granddaughters 5th birthday. It has been raining since friday; but today before noon it turned to snow ..Well now its almost 4 pm and about 3 inches in spots; and the roads are messy . Some people know how to drive but other havent a clue. So after a foray to Fayetteville around noon we decided to stay put until tomorrow.
Anyway cannot wait to get back to Florida. THis stuff is YUKKKKK..
Regards and happy bussin mike..

Mike, I heard this morning before leaving Flywheeler's that thet are predicting snow for North Florida today. Glad we are in South Florida. Jack
It's bitterly cold here in Texas right now, 56°. We might need to get out the long handle skivvies and the parkas.
As one with considerably more snow driving experience than most of you I can only offer one piece of advice about driving in snow: Don't.
Be safe out there.
Snowing like crazy in Charlotte NC now... ;D

Here is what it looks like in Greer, SC this morning . . . .
It will be in the 40's today, but the refreeze tonight will make the body shops happy . . . . :(
Living with the crazies in Los Angeles has its' advantages-it was 83 yesterday. Overcastrated today, only 72. Good Luck, TomC
What my kids did with their school closed due to weather.
Can you south Florida guys do that on a school closed day?
We usually get snow here once a year & the best part is that we don't have to do much for cleanup, just wait a day or two for it to melt. ;D

No, we go to the beach and do sand sculptures. Usually don't even need to wear a shirt, let alone a jacket. LOL Jack

Jack,
The weather related school closures here are called 'snow-days', from my understanding, in Florida, they are called 'hurricane-days'.
So, wouldn't a hurricane cause less than ideal conditions at the beach for sand sculptures? ;)
A 'forced' day off is kinda nice once in a while . . . .
As long as the power stays on. ;D
