I have driven many a school bus with those things installed. I have not a clue how to install one in an older bus. It might be possible. Go to your local school bus garage and talk with a mechanic he will surely be able to help.
John,
I have some skoolie maintenance and service manuals, maybe if you post whatever information you have on it, I might be able to find a wiring diagram for you.
Or, maybe someone else has one and could dig it out for you.

The panel simply puts a second bulb in series with the outside bulb(s). If a bulb fails, the circuit remains open so the light on the panel stays dark.
i will ck the local school bus repair shop for any ideas thanks guys john4905
