I was wondering where to look on my engine if possible to find how many times it has been rebuilt, or is there such a thing!

My 8v-92 has a Detroit Diesel tag on the block; under the exhaust manifold at the front of the block just above the water pump.
IF your engine was rebuilt at the Detroit dealer, you can give any dealer the serial and model number and they can pull up a build sheet. I don't know if they can find out about the rebuild history.
