This is a bus that I am considering buying, any history available on it?
PD4106-674

Steve -
PD4106-674 was delivered new in January of 1962 as fleet number TN-973 to Trailways of New England, based in Washington, DC.
Most likely, as it was common practice at the time, it stayed in Trailway's fleet 10 years before being sold off.
FWIW & HTH. . .

Thanks for the info.

The bus we just aquired is #675... I wonder if it was also part of the same fleet? This is cool. :)

Yup, sister bus, fleet number TN-974, same delivery month/year (01/62), same buyer.
Now you two need to get together and take a "fleet" picture!

Did you get the bus or passed? It would be cool to some day run across each other and take a fleet pic to have in our photo album we are making for our bus.

Congrats on your purchase, post up a photo when you can it would cool to see what yours looks like. I have posted photos of mine on here before, so do a search if you like.
I will be back on the road tomorrow with #674 until winter. California and Nevada is the plan but as you will discover, the bus makes the final decision on that!
Let us know where you are in your sig or post up here.
Enjoy
TM
I posted a couple pics somewhere in the forum of our "Roamin' Home" #675
