Nah, I will pass. It is a board that I will probably never visit again. As many free sites as there are to post photos now, there is no need to join. Flickr is one such site, and is part of yahoo. Then, using such a site as Flickr, when you use a search engine such as Google, the photos will show up. Which will further our hobby, as the photos are now searchable.
And I did not post this to offend the OP, so If I did, I am sorry.

Jack, I guess re reading my post again, after I stepped away from the computer.. it did come across a bit harsh.. Sorry. I guess I was trying to say, why post a link that requires someone to become a member (even if it is free), when there are alternatives out there to host photos for free. Then, if a person was interested in buying a scenic crusier, when they search for pictures on say Google, the photos would show up. If thousands of people look at the photos over time, they might become interested in purchasing one, hence, furthering our hobby/ lifestyle, and gaining a future member.
But, I was not the one who was nice enough to post the link in the first place.. so I am a butthead. Hmmm, I will shut up now..LOL.. And thanks for posting the link in the first place, even if I jumped all over your thread..

I checked your profile, and notice you are somewhat new here. While there's no indication of how new to the hobby you are, it's pretty obvious you don't know about the yahoo bus groups, so I'll assume you are new to the hobby, also.
With that assumption, may I suggest that before you spout off to the long time and well respected members of this and the other bus boards about the way they post and share information, that you spend some quiet time watching and learning about us and about where and why the information is located where it is. There's a reason the photos were posted ont he yahoo boards, and a reason the yahoo boards are protected, as is this board. These public boards are moderated by dedicated individuals who spend vast amounts of their personal time making sure the valued members who use these boards are kept safe and secure, and are not bombarded with unwanted spam.
We're not your typical online bulletin board community. Maybe you should put your biases aside and join. You might find something there to learn from.

I do have the utmost respect for you and most of the people on here. The things you have done to your bus are amazing. I have spent the last month doing just what you have proposed that I do..read, read, and read some more. I have spend nearly 2 weeks just on your sight alone. I will be getting a bus soon, and when I do, I will be calling on you, and numerous other members of this site for your help, guidance, and support, as I embark on probably one of the biggest projects of my life so far.
However, I when I posted, I posted to Jack. Once I reread my post, I apologized to him publicly. I believe that he and I are past this now, and we are moving on with life.

There are tons of things that I could post here in response.. but I will not. I am going to bite my tongue, turn the other cheek, or whatever you want to call it. Hmm, I made a mistake, and apologized..
The last time I saw Pat's bus the interior was a plywood palace - Nice to see it completed with the same quality (excellent) as the chassis -
Last year at jacks rally, pats bus was just down the row from us, it's even nicer than the pictures show, often pictures show a far more impressive site that the item is but in this case the bus really has to be seen in person, it is flawless.
By the way, for anyone that wants to see Pat's bus in person, Pat will once again be at Bussin' 09. Jack
Absolutely beautiful! I believe that is one of the best all time conversions. I am so throughly impressed inside and out. I would like to know the source of his interior furniture, I was worried about using to much of the same color of material that it would be to much........but after viewing these photo's, I'm convinced it was the way to go!!!! To look at the outside and to realize how much work went into making this bus a show bus......is unbelievable. Jack I for one appreciate you taking the time to post these! Thank you very much! Another thing is that this bus has been stretched to 45ft 6 inch, ask pat the story on the extra 6 inches lol.
Am I seeing correctly that his front door opens to the rear like a suicide door? That's pretty cool since that is the long edge and would give him a better pivot, as long as he can keep the wind out on the road.
Like Cody said, ask Pat about the extra 6 inches!

Muddog, I tried to call Pat and ask him to no avail...however...I think it is all custom work. Someone ask him at Bussin' 09 and post back please.

When you see Pat's bus, you need to hear the engine. It is a very quiet 8V92. Quite strong too . . . . ;D ;D ;D
Pat had a couple of shipwrights (sp?) custom fabricate the interior. He didn't mind tearing out & redoing anything he didn't like . . . . :P

I joined Yahoo groups just to see the photos in context. Very nice restoration and conversion (IMHO) Sure made me grin.
When we were looking for a bus to buy, I wanted a Scenicruiser in the worst way, but was vetoed by she who must be obeyed.

The roof (at least 40' of it) is the only thing original on it - FWIW

I like the countertop in the kitchen, how the heck do you find one with a raised lip like that? Custom made I'm sure like the rest of his coach, amazing attention to detail.

Niles, the lack of rivets creates a smooth run to the sides that impressed the dog poop out of me, anyone who questions what sikaflex can be used for or is squeamish about the use of it should spend some time checking out pats bus.
