Any Maine bus nuts know how their conversion was treated relative to yearly Maine Excise tax? It looks to be .4% of MSRP on anything more than 6 years old, but that would still be very high based on the original cost of a charter coach (more than $1000/yr).
I am stuck with a second bus I am keeping to use for parts eventually, but would like to locate it in the northeast for some family and friends to use in the mean time. Any suggestion on which north east state is friendliest to conversions ($ and inspections) would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks
