I am writing to help out a friend and Eagle owner here near me in NC who is Eric Brown which some of you know. Eric owns a 1973 Model 05 Eagle and needs information on the air lines that go through the aft bulkhead of the spare tire compartment. Anyone thinking they can help out eric which I cannot as mine is disconnected still and my memory fades out now and then.
Eric wants his system to be working as designed so anyone with a 73 05 model could sure help him out. His cell phone is (864-444-7373).
and his email is ericb.doorsgalore@wildblue.net.
any help you can give Eric will be appreciated.
Thanks from me also and hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Holiday.
Gary
Hey Gary,
Eric has a thread on here somewhere about this. We've been tossing ideas around trying to figure out what it is. Of course I am no help but there are a lot of folks here with good experience. They'll eventually figure it out.
I found on mine that is the exhaust line for the parking brake, but the regulator part is what I am having trouble with the only regulator on the 05 of mine is to the doors they do not use a regulator any place on the brake system I can find after 2 days of searching.Being regulated air it almost have to be for the doors, shutters or clutch.
good luck
Songman,
I do not frequent or read completely any more a lot of the bb'd post so I missed the previous inquiry by eric but I bet someone will be able to help.
Thanks to all that can.
Gary
I spoke with Eric today on the phone for quite a while and the last phone call I had to leave a message. I traced the lines going out of the inversion valve to the front and gave him that infomation, maybe he needs more. Don't know for sure as he never called back. Hopefully between all of us he can get it figured out.
The line he mentioned to me went to the accessory tank on mine, the other goes to the park valve. Don't know how close his system is to ours, but the way he described it to me sounded very close. Dan at Silver Eagle asked him to call the Eagles Nest, but never got a return phone call. :(

Helping one and another is what this board always needs whenever that someone posted.
Thank you all Eagle's bus nut to pitch in to help.
Hopeful it will eventually solve his problem.
