Well last week we went ahead and sold one of the MCI 96A3's we had. And now we are short a bus for a huge group of Norwegion tourist that we are shuttling around Memphis this week, and then taking to Nashville of Friday!
So since we are actually in the market for another SETRA. I told a guy who's been trying to sell us some "Ya know youu should let us borrow a S217 for the week and see if we like it, if we do it'll be much easier to convince dad to buy it!"
Well here is what he sent me home with!
As I was pulling out he stood in the drive and stopped me at the driver's window. And told me "Enjoy it, fall in love with it, decide to keep it, and start sending in the monthly payment of $4850!"
Dad doesn't know what I brought home yet, he thinks I got what I went after! He'll find out this afternoon when I show up to pick my group at the airport at 6PM! I hope he'll let me keep it! ;D BK ;D
gonna get some pics in here some how, having problems for now! But until I get the pics posted I'll let ya know it's a 2005 SETRA S217! Very pretty and almost drives itself! ;D BK ;D

And a nice purty bus like that will likely help you beat out other charters for the good projects. And reduce maintenance costs to boot. There have got to be lots of reasons to do it. (of course they have to offset the 4,850 reasons not to ;) )

Is this a committee decision. If so I will help out (with as many votes as I can ;D ;), how many do I get?) as much as I can. LOL I guess our votes don't matter though, since the "electoral college hasn't voted yet ;D ;D ;D.
All that to say. "Dad would you let him keep it?". That is a rolling money machine. If it passed me on the road, and I needed a charter tour, I wouldn't be able to call to schedule fast enough. That is a great looking bus!!! One of those would look great in your fleet!!!

Well I survived the first challenge last night at the airport!
I pulled up and there was no parking near our other buses that were there loading also, so I went to the front of the line about 4-5 buses in front of dad. As I was done loading, and pulling away Robert said "well looks like Bryce is loaded already!" Dad looked around and said "what, where, I haven't even seen him yet!" Then dad looked in the direction Robert was looking in and said "don't tell me he's in that new SETRA!" Robert threw his hands up and said "don't look at me I just dropped him off and headed here!"
At the hotel where we were dropping off dad walked up and said "nice loaner!" Then he went straight to it and climbed aboard it, looked around, came back to the drivers seat sat down and said "oh ya, this is nice!" But before I could say anything CAT has already hit the nail on the head!

It sure is a pretty thing, looks especially nice when you can sit in your moms new screen porch and admire it in comfort lol. Just wait till your dad catches us dragging plywood into it lol for your new conversion lol.

Well I ain't givin' it up voluntarily! But I dun figured out that throwing a tempertamper, jumping up and down, rolling on the ground, screaming and crying just ain't gonna work! Besides all those people at Graceland really thought I was disturbed or something! And mom, dad, Jeannie, Robert, and everyone else said it was very undignified for a 42 yr old man to act like that at Elvis's home! ;D BK ;D
