Item Description:

This 1978 MCI MC-8 bus has been sitting for 18 months. Had been started several times a year and always at least once a year was taken out for a drive.

Unfortunately, one of the batteries needs to be replaced, so I was unable to have it started when I went to see it last August. I have no reason to think it would be any different than every other time it has been started, it usually fires up immediately and runs like a top.

The bus was used as a charter bus by Malaspina Charters during its early years, Malaspina Charters was known for low kms and excellent maintenance, which is why my husband bought this bus, he was a retired bus driver, so he knew busses very well.

  • The oil is changed regularly
  • It has two brand-new tires on the front, they only have a couple of hours of drive time on them, and they have been protected from the sun since they were installed in 2021.
  • There has been recent work on the air bellows.
  • There is a brand new workbench installed as a kitchen cabinet
  • A brand new fridge
  • A brand new toilet is in the bus, but has not been installed
  • There are a couple of front seats still in the bus, the rest have been removed.
  • The ceiling is about 1/4 completed inside

There are some extra parts with the bus, one new airbag bellows for sure, an extra tire and rim, all the containers to complete oil changes plus a couple of extra oil filters.
